I have a CS1000M at Rls 6.
I have two 2250 consoles.

I was wondering if it was possible to configure a 2050 softphone as a third attendant console?

Thanks.

No. You can make it an Attendant Overflow DN and/or night destination but not share calls with the other two 2250s.

Look for a document titled something like "Central Answering Position User Guide" which describes using a digital/IP phone to provide console-like features based primarily upon the use of ACD for queuing and BFS on expansion modules for a pseudo busy lamp field. The latest version of 2050 supports expansion modules so you could use the same approach.

Thanks to you both for replying. I will look into that user guide.

Is there anything out there that is PC based that can be used for an attendant console that is either free or cheap?

thanks.
