I am trying to set up a 2003 server to accomodate a laptop wirelessly. I have one server and one client (at the mo)This will be basic file & Print sharing without internet access. I have the server and router connected with a cat 5 cable and I can access the router console through Internet Explorer and see the settings (the router has an IP, subnet etc). How do I set up 2003 server to let it see the wireless router. I cannot ping the router from the server. I have the wireless card installed on a client and it tells me that there is excellent signal strength and allows me to see and connect to a wireless network but I cannot ping the router ip address. Can anyone help?
