I have a user in my company. He uses Windows XP PRO. Now he needs get access in my domain (Windows 2000 server). I created an account for him. and he is validated on the network. But when he access the Windows XP , he loses your local configuration, (as outlook express. address book. etc..).
How can I do for him keep your local configuration.
Thanks

He is loosing his local settings because he is no longer being authenticateed locally. He is being authenticated through the domain which has created him a new profile. All that you need to do is copy his previous profile to his new profile. Log in as administrator. Right click My Computer and click on the Advanced tab. Under User Profiles click on the Settings button. Select the users old profile and click on the Copy To button. Under Copy profile to browes to C:\Douments and Settings\Users new profile. Click OK. Under permitted to use add the users Domain account and click ok. Click OK again to start the copy of the profile. Now have the user log in to the computer using the domain account. All settings and files from the previous account will now be available.
