I have 2 servers, one running on Linux with Domino 6.5 and the other running on NT 4 with Domino 6.5.1. I activated webmail option for the a user so that he can use the IE browser to check his mails. The problem is that he only sees his meeting notifications in Inbox and cannot see other mails. Please note that he is able to see all his mails using his Lotus client.

Users using Webmail seeing only meeting notifications in Inbox!

When I say Web mail I mean accessing your mails via the web browser using ip/mail/mail file as the address. The user is within the network and not accessing the mails through the internet where you would need inotes. The user mail file is still being viewed from the Notes 6 client and therefore uses Mail6.ntf.

iNotes is for Web access, regardless of where the connection is coming from (inside or outside the LAN). I would upgrade the user to iNotes6.ntf. This should fix the problem and the user won't know the difference when using the Notes client.
iNotes performs better and has more features then using notes6.ntf from a web browser. Give it a try, let me know.
