i have a small windows 2000 network.
I want to reduce the users local admin rights to user rights on their workstations.
the problem is when i do this, and they try to open notes they get an error saying they do not have the ability to open lotus notes, they do not have proper rights.
How can i keep them having user local access and still be able to open lotus notes ?
thanks
I think it has to do with when the notes was installed for each user they originally had local admin rights on their workstation, also it was installed with "only for me" instead of "anyone who uses this pc".
again any help would really get me out of a bind. thanks

Try this:

run regedt32, HKEY local machine, Software, Lotus key.
Click on security, permissions and give users full control.
