Users unable to open email attachments - profile issue?

We are using Windows NT 4 Workstation with Office 2000.

Some of our users get an error message stating that they don't have permission to the folder they are opening the attachment in. User permissions all check out but are still unable to open, save or print the attachments. This is resolved if the NT user profile is recreated for the affected users. As this is quite a drastic meassure I would like to know if any of you have experienced anythig similar and what the solution is.

HI.

Check the permissions for the TEMP folder.

Type in a CMD prompt the command:

SET

Then check permissions for the folder which TEMP= points to.
(You can also check in the System Properties).
