Hi,

Have GP set to make users change their p/w every 2 months (or so) - works fine - users are prompted to change passwords etc.

Have a particular user whom wants to change their p/w every 30 days.

Is there a command line method for invoking the 'Change Password' button (that you would normaly see by pressing Crtl+Alt+Delete)? Users are on Thin Clients and this combo only brings up taskmgr..

I looked on the net and there is the "net user" command, however this seems to require domain admin access and is a little 'clunky' for the users to use..

Hope this makes sense?

Cheers, Chris.

blakey2,
You should be able to accomplish this by doing the hotkey combination....ctrl-F1 (or might be ctrl-F2).

This should bring up the Windows security window that will allow you to change the password.

Hope that helps.

Hey Enigma99,

Purple star for you!

Works a treat!

- Cheers Chris.
