Hi all!

Is it possible to deny users from moving from their home directory or editing files that are not in their home?
I tried with chmod:

chmod o-x /etc

But then the users cannot login.
In my box (dgux 4.0f) there aren't ACL.

Thanks.
Ezra

Hi Ezra
You can Edit /etc/passwd file and then in that particular user name you can add then line /bin/Rsh
In this way that user will not be able to execute CD command
