Users' profiles

Hi, I am wanting to use one user profile for all my users. What would be the best way of creating the profile, and is pointing all the users to one share to get their profile path a safe idea, or is there something else most people do for multi-user profiles?

How do I set the location of desktop icons just using group policy objects?

I'm finding that without the profile path set for the user, a new profile is stored on the local computer and is not removed on logoff. How do I stop this from happening?
