Users password security

I need to implemnet and have everone change their passwords ASAP due to lay offs. Is there a way i can do this in AD windows 2003 server--single domain

How many users have you got??

Under Active Directory users and Computers if you select all the users, then right click and select properties.
Select the ACCOUNT tab and tick users must change their password at next logon.
