We have a 2K network running active directory. One ISA dedicated server with a third party internet usage software running accessing the ISAlog files for it's data. All clients are directed through the server from a group policy setting. The URLcache is located on a seperate partition to the system drive and we have a mirror disk on the machine.
From viewing the performance logs we know that the objects and URL are being added to the cache. The problem we have is that none of the clients are accessing the cache for stored objects. We have a default homepage and even this is retrieved from the internet everytime a user logs on.
In the performance Monitor, Disk cache allocated space is 636MB, memory cache allocated space is 47MB and the URL's in cache is constantly increasing. But the disk byte retrieved rate and Memory bytes retrieved rate is 0. Occasionally it will register around 1(KB/sec). Also the third party software shows that nothing is coming out of the cache. Any ideas at this stage would be welcomed.
