Hi there,

We have a bunch of shares with various subfolders with permissions set on the subfolders. The groups for these shares/subfolders are all sat in 1 OU.

I'd like the users to start managing their own permissions i.e. add/remove users from groups without using any 3rd party software. I know I could do this using an custom snap-in but this would mean changing permissions on the OU so one user would have for example rights to all groups within (I'm pretty sure this is correct).

Is there a way to manage this (dfl 2k8 r2) so that the users only see and manage the groups they need to but no sub-OU's are needed?

Cheers in advance,
Molenski
