Hello, i try to connect on VMPRO server on a PC with windows server 2008,once logged in. on the top left i can see the ip address of the control unit, but users and groups does not appear,it seems that the connection is not established well . Although IPO and the PC running VMRPO server are on the same subnet mask.
How to fix it ?

Thanks !

Disable firewall, and or run the AvayaFW batch file to open the ports.

You should see the name of the IP Office next to the IP Adress, if not then they are not connected.
Possible cause:
- Firewall on PC - add VMPro.exe or run the AvayaFW.bat script
- VM Password
In securitysettings IP Office
In VM Client preferenses

If you did not set a password in either one then default the security settings and restart the VM Pro service.

Okay, i the 2nd option is better for me ,so i only need to run this app and it will fix my issue, no configuration is need on ip office manager ?,

Thanks !

Well, if it is the firewall then running the script is enough but if it is a password issue you must default the security settings in Manager.
Defaulting security settings can be done without a reboot but I have read some posts here were the IP Office actually did reboot after the command to reset the security settings(never happened to me though)
So be prepared.

I've seen that security setting issue come up more and more lately. It's very strange.
