First Partner Mode install: R8.0.18 as I see many issues with 8.0.43. User has recorded their name and their personal greeting. Gone in and activated their greeting. Now, when a caller gets their mailbox it plays their greeting followed by the system greeting. I thought I saw this addressed here on another thread, but can't seem to locate it. Is there any resloution to this. R42/43 tech tips don't address this issue so I doubt an upgrade will fix it.

The other option is to switch your voicemail mode from Intuity mode to IP Office mode. In Manager, this is under System Setup->System Parameters.

Dan

If it ain't broke, why fix it?
If it's broke, try to fix it..
If you can't fix it, get yourself a good baseball bat and swing away! :)

I switched it to IPO mode. I didn't even realize by default it went with Intuity mode. Not used to Partner mode.

If your customer is coming from a Partner, Magix, or other Avaya system, they will already be familiar with the prompts and key sequences of Intuity mode. We're actually excited that it is now an option on embedded VM.

I know. They were coming from 4-line telephones so they were just excited to have individual vm, auto-attendant greetings, and visual voicemail was a big hit.
