Hello everyone,

I am running into a weird problem with my current farm. I have three exact servers running w2k sp2, metaframe xpe and no service pack. The install was a clean one and not an upgrade from previous version of server or metaframe. I also have a FoxPro application published.

The application runs fine for most everyone, there are a couple of users that gets logged off when they try to open the published application. I would take them back to the log on screen. Then only information I been able to fine in relations to this in the citrix knowledge base is document id ctx409279.

If you have any information on how to resolve this issue please email me at trash_chu@acpac.com or reply here.

Thank you for your time,
Gary

Is it the same users who are affected..???
Are any errors occuring in your event logs when they are logged off...???

Morning Highland,

So far its the same two users. No, there are no error events in the log files.

I've run into this problem. For me, it was tied to a login script. Once the login script was removed from the profile, the error went away. Then it was just a matter of finding the part of the script that caused the problem.

gbiello's idea is good. This seems to be user or PC specific. I would rule out the PC by having the user login on a PC that it works for someone else. If you can do this, the login script, or the user's groups (any other security things that could be different) should be compared. I would also delete the users' profiles on the Citrix server and allow them to recreate. If these were the first two users, some change may have been after their profiles were created that could be causing your problems. If they were the last users given access, perhaps some change was made after everyone else's profile was created but prior to these being created that is causing a problem. Anyway, these are the steps I would take to further narrow the possible faults.

Thanks for the tips folks. I am in the process of narrowing it down now. The only changes that were made before the problems begain is that we created new OU for this group in active directory. However, everyone else is working fine.
