Users changing domains and want sharepoint subscriptions to follow

We have sharepoint 2001. We are migrating from one domain to another and subsequently moving users to the new domain. The problem we are having is as the users move and log into the new domain, when they log into sharepoint all their subscriptions are gone, which of course makes sense since they are now on a new domain. My question is there a way to move their subscriptions from the old domain to the new domain?

Forgot to mention that we are moving from an NT 4.0 domain to an AD domain.

Hello,

As far as I have seen, there is no way to actually move those subscriptions, they are not only connected to the users e-mail address, it is also connected to the Domain account of the users.
