We host our own corp. website. Our employees that our part of our internal network must enter the internal ip address of the website to get to it and cannot type in the domain name.

Is there a DNS record that I can add that will allow users internal to our network to access our website with the domain name and not the IP?

Is there another way to do it or is there a reason not to?

Thanks in advance.

Never mind! Figured it out. Just created an A record in our Active Directory's DNS to point the domain name to the correct internal IP address.

Curiously it's not working with our OSX Macs that are using AdmitMac to join the domain.
