hello, i have install the isa 2004 and have some problems in user authentication. Here is the setup:
i have set up a back end ISA 2004 server which redirect the traffic upstream to front end ISA server. In the back end ISA i have joined the domain and created a access rule to allow specific domain users and localhost (ISA server itself) user to access the internet (http). Then when i use the internal machine(proxy pointing to ISA in IE setting) to access the internet, it returns error if i log on as domain user, it said
"HTTP 407 Proxy Authentication required - The ISA Server requires authorization to fulfill the request. Access to the Web Proxy service is denied. (12209)"
....but when i use localhost (ISA) to access internet, it works. I could nslookup the domain controller in the ISA server. Is there any idea of this problem?
Sorry for my poor English, thanks
Jo
