Username and Password For Oracle 9i Database on W2K

Please I need help!!! I am new to Oracle 9i, I have been working on previous releases of Oracle databases. In 8i for instance, you do not need to do any configuration before you log in to the database. Can anybody just tell me how to login to Oracle 9i database. I know that in 7.3, 8.0 and 8i, you can use System/Manager or Scott/Tiger. These does not work in 9i. WILL APPRECIATE ANY RESPONSE BACK, THANKS.

system/manager and scott/tiger do work immediately after install of Oracle9 DB unless your installation has been set up specifically to exclude these or someone (an administrator) has changed them. Try > sqlplus / as sysdba.
or contact your DBA.
