userID and userdatetime

I have the getdate() for the 'userdatetime' field default to be filled in when record is created, however, how do I get the userID's field to appear with the name of the person entering the record.....how is default set for userID, or how does it automatically record the user...I set up the user in the SQL database....what is missing. Thank you...

Hi,

Look up suser_sname() in SQL bol.... u can use that to set the name of the person entering a record in a field....
