I use the Userform.Show VbModeLess property to keep the form in the foreground. This has worked fine on my PC but when i run this particular procudure on a diffrent PC i get a message "Invalid Number of Arguements or Invalid property assignment". This dosn't sound right to me but i'm not farmiliar with this property, does anyone else have any ideas? Hold the wheel and Drive

What version of Excel is that second computer running? I believe modeless forms in VBA were allowed starting with Excel2000.

That would make sence, its Office97 on the second PC.

Are you aware of an equivilant for Office97?

I don't think Excel97 standard VBA will allow you to do that. There may have been workarounds, but I'm not aware of any (haven't had to, I've only been programming VBA since Excel2000)
Good luck

I also found out the hard way that the only real way to get a userform modeless is to use Excel 2000, which was not a big problem in my case. However, in my searches for a workaround, I came across this website that apparently exploits a bug in Excel 97 to allow you to make a userform modeless.

I havent tried it out myself, so I would use caution. But I think its the closest thing to a workaround that you will find. The link to the website is Look at the second paragraph under "They said it couldn't be done".

Hope this is helpful in some way. If you do try it, I would be interested to know if it actually works.

Cheers
Matt

Yes, that worked well. Its very simple code, easy to understand.

Thankyou
