I know i'm being selfish in my needs, but I'd really like to find a way to publicly expose a UserControl from an ActiveX DLL, which could then be used by other applications. I much prefer the .DLL extension to the .OCX. Is there any trick that can be pulled to expose a UserControl from an ActiveX DLL in vb6?

Hi Yesaca,

there is no internal difference between an ocx and dll.
Compile your ocx-file and rename it to dll ;)

Don't forget to unregister the ocx first!

Thank you. This will work out just fine!
