Hi,
User1 under sudoerslist in Linux. User1 can su to User2 . Can User2 write into a directory owned by root.

Can User2 write into a directory owned by root.
It will depend upon the permissions set on that directory. The If the write bit is set for others (bad move) or if it is set for the group and user2 is a member of that group, yes. Otherwise no.

That could be it . Write allowed for others or under a group which is allowed to write.

Thank U NOway2
