Do you have to use sys, system or connect internal database accounts when backing up an Oracle database using ArcServe?

By default, you should configure Arcserve to use the oracle internal account to backup

Our security policy prohibits using the default sys, system or internal accounts for backups.
Our way around it: using a generic account setup as sysdba. It has not failed us yet on our 100+ instances.
