Anybody ever been so busy fixing "stupid" stuff and answer dumb questions that you need suggest someone take basic computer training.

My last stupid instance:

A user using a laptop that got a monitor and keyboard and mouse attached. Everyday he'd manage to accident hit the CRT key on the top row and turn off his monitor. Everyday he'd call me and say his computer wasnt working. Everyday = 2 weeks. I'd show him everyday, what he did and how to get the monitor back. Grrrrrrr!!!! Back he'd still call saying his laptop doesnt work.

I recommend that you get that clueless user an external keyboard.

Take out the CRT keytop? Alternatively, cut the finger he/she hits it with off. A bit drastic maybe, but needs must!
