Has anyone had expereince using this before. I am going to be deploying Windows XP to over 3000 employes over the next few months. They will be getting a fresh image of Windows XP to over write their existing Windows 2000 image.
I have been looking for a way to automate the copy of each users existing computer state and settings and USMT seems to offer a good solution. I have attempted to test it but it has failed me. I am a little concerned so if anyone know of another solution I would greatly appreciate it. I need to save setting like, favorites, desktop items, .pst files, network added printers.
I thought about enabling "User Roaming Profile" but with many remote locations, copying profiles to the server will be extremely long.
Appreciate any info.
Thank You
Dom
