User setup - can't do sudo, rsh, 777 mode

Without using sudo or a restricting shell, and without changing the filesystem mode to 777, how do I set up a user to have full access (rwx) to a group's filesystem? Please advise.
 
In AIX? Use ACLs: try the help on aclget, aclput, acledit


I hope it works...
Unix was made by and for smart people.
