I have been asked if the security can be changed for a user in IC 5.2A so that they don't have access to pricing maintenance. The idea is that only certain people need access to change item pricing and others need to only view the item and the prices attached to them. The person who handles the security issues states that it is all or nothing for item pricing maintenance. I am making the assumption that there are more methods for security in ACCPAC than this answer. Some people have been changing prices when they seem fit to do so and we want to stop that from happening. We don't want to single out people but do want to take this abiltiy away and allow two people to be able to change them. All users in IC must be able to view pricing information and if security is all or nothing will this not then make the user unable to view if set to nothing. We also use MSSQL. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

In IC Security Groups:
Price List Maintenance = update prices
Common Inquiry will allow users to view price lists.
