User receiving external mails

Hello All;

Please can anyone help; I have multi exchange server 2003/2007 setup located at different locations. Users in a smaller location with exchange 2003 setup can't send or receive mails form the remote location, A delay message is sent by exchange saying the mail hasnot being delivered. But within the local domain users send/receive mails.

Please ideas will be appriciated.

Sounds as though it may be a DNS issue. That remote site not resolving to outside DNS.

Are all the servers part of the same Exchange Organization?
