Hello everyone. Ive got an ongoing annoying issue with an old 406 system (due to be replaced next year). The main hunt group has one user, reception and every so often the phone stops rining and they call me. Everytime it happens when I go into the manager the user listed in the huntgroup is not ticked? I know this has to be something extremely simple and must be a short code they are accidently putting in but I can work out which one it is.. any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

try deleting the users profile, merge and re-create them.

does the receptionist use softconsole?

What hasndset type?
Do they have a Hunt Group enable button?
has agent status on no-answer been configured?

As a sneaky hack I one had a customer that needed to prevent a user from opting out of group setting DND etc.
i ended up creating a phantom user in the hunt group (sequential) that was on forward unconditional/forward Hunt Group calls to the offending user. I also added 'N' into the users DND exception list.

Harsh, but it stopped the problem & the extn. was supposedly on an emergency call out line so V. Important that the calls ran & were answered.

Sorry for not responding to this help at the time, Ive been super busy. Its still going which is annnoying, They have no hunt group enable button, status on no answer doesnt seem to be an option on the sw version. They have old digi handsets that arent recognised by Manager but it does only seem to affect these handsets.. the analogue ones are fine..

This also happens when someone keeps a config open on their PC and makes changes to that config, then sends it to the system, they then leave the original config open until they make more changes, upshot being it keeps undoing anything that happens between the 2 incidents :)

LOL, went in today and took a look, they had a "group" button on the bloody phone.. problem solved. Thanks everyone.

Then punch them in the face, they know full well when they press it they get no calls, they are just skiving :)

I asked them on the call numerous times to tell me what buttons they had on the handsets.. not one of them mentioned bloody group!

That is because the fooled you :)
There are some users who know how to avoid calls because they are idiots who do not want to work but get free money.
I also do not understand why such people are not getting fired after doing this so many times.

BAZINGA!
