Do we have to set up and individual profile on each of our 98 workstations for users to access their e-mail and other office applications? If so should these profiles be 500mb apiece?

No, and No. create a default profile fro all your users with the required apps and the probiles should not be anywhere near 500Mb unless you are doing something really odd.

Profiles store files at the server level including any files on the desktop and subfolders thereof. Therefore, if your users decide to dump loads of files onto their desktops they could in theory hit 500Mb. Or even more.<br>

Check out your own desktop size - mine is 100Mb which fortunately is a static profile not a roaming one.

Thats what I said. Thats huge, although storing everything on the desktop(not such a good idea) could fill a profile very quickly.
