I did the upgrade from 5.2 Pervasive to 5.3 MSSQL, everything went good, but the user profiles seem not to be there

the securty groups are there, but not the users?

did i do something wrong? o do i have to do something additional?

Sometimes you have to export the security authorizations, change the version column and re-import.

and How do i do that? is at database level? or app level?

Go into user authorizations, file, export. You'll see version column in the output. Change the version from 52A to 53A and re-import. You'll likely have to clean up the exported data but it will save you lots of time.

I did it and it worked. However, something odd happend, the users only can be seen on the actual computer i did the importing, why is that?

Because your shared data folder is wrong, all computers must share a common shared data folder.
