Windows 8.1 Pro laptop connecting to a Windows Domain. Wireless is secured via Windows RADIUS (Network Policy Server).

I had an issue where the laptop locked up so bad I had to do a hard shutdown. After, I can no longer log in to our secure wireless. According to the security log on the RADIUS server, the laptops *computer* account is being denied access. No mention of my user account. Funny thing is, if I log into the laptop using a different domain account, I can connect. Using my own domain account on a 8.1 Surface Pro I can also connect so it would seem that my domain account is fine and that the problem is some obscure problem with my user profile on the laptop.

Anyone have any ideas what to look at? I spent quite a bit of time tweaking my Start screen and other settings, so I'm not thrilled about he idea of deleting the profile and recreating it.

Is System Restore an option if you go back to before the Shutdown you did?

See, Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Recovery\ Open System Restore

Sorry about the late response. As I continued to pound away on this, I noticed that my Antivirus was disabled. When I enabled that I was able to get on the secure WLAN again. The odd thing is we do *not* have health checks active on the Policy Server so it shouldn't have made any difference.

In any event, since it's working again, I'm not investigating any further unless it recurs.
