I have a user on a trusted domain with a new PC. He's running Win98se on a Winnt 4 domain. He's framed in to our domain with ISDN. The other 5 users in his domain have no problems but when he logs in his pc can't browse either network. He even has problems on the local machine ie:if he rt clicks on a text file it takes up to a minute to bring up the menu. When he doesn't log onto the network there's no problem. I've brought the pc down to my office and changed the network info to our domain and everything works fine. When he takes it back to his office it doesn't work. We've checked his hub and cables and both check out OK. Our domain is a mix of NT4, Novell 4.11, and Win2000.
Novell is not loaded on any system in his domain. We're running straight TCPIP up there.

Just for background his PC is a compaq exd P800 with 256 meg ram.

Sorry if this is a bit jumbled but the frustration is starting to get to me. I'd appreciate any insight.
Thanks.

You say he comes in via isdn? that means there is at least one router.. possibly two. The problem would be the routers normally do not pass UDP 137/138 which are considered broadcast. MS uses these ports for several things... network browsing for one.. If you have ciscos, there is a command called IP HELPER which will forward certain broadcasts.. like DNS, DHCP, WINS and the like. In any case, check the routers that you are in fact passing the ports 137 and 138.
