I have a user who is unable to recieve any external mail but they can get all internal mail fine.

Hello! This is just a simple idea, but check it anyway especially if you're working in an other than English language area. Are there any "scandinavian" characters lie åäö or any other weird symbols in the user id and email address? Regular SMTP services can't handle those. In these cases you have to create an alias for GWIA which has only basic symbols.
