I am reposting this message. I am hoping to attract a little more help because I am stumped. I am attempting to upsize from Access to sql2k using the upsize wizard. After geting SQL Server registered, and declaring a user (jc), I tried to use the wizard. On the second page of the wizard, where it asks for the name of the server and the authentication, I get the following error message:

Connection Failed
SQL Server State: '2800'
SQL Server Error: 18452
[...]Login failued for user 'jc'. Reason: Not associated with a trusted SQL Server connection.

Can anyone tell me what this means, and how I can find and use a trusted SQL Server connection?

Thanks, Jeff

SQL Server is using windows quthentication. The account you use to connect now is not added in SQL security as Windows Authentication Login account!

Alright. That makes sense - that is what I told it to do. So instead of using the new login, I entered my windows authentication, exactly as it shows in the enterprise manager. I am getting the same message.

So I tried to change the security to accept SQL Server and Windows authentications. Using either I get a pop-up error message that simply says "Overflow". There is something else missing. I just don't know what.
