We just built an XP workstation for our company's president. In addition to logging on to our 2000 AD network, he needs to log on to his other company when he visits it; it also is a 2000 AD network. Currently, we have to rename the computer to point to the current domain he is on when he moves from place to place in order for him to log on, otherwise we get an error regarding problems joining the domain. Is there a way to create a profile which we can use to select the domain name of the network of his current location?

Is there a trust setup between the domains? Or is the secondary domain connected to your network via any VPN's or through any network setup?

routermaid,

You are very welcome.

If there were no Domain changes involved, XP natively has between its "Alternative" configuration options, and its netsh.exe scripting.

But this seemed like a case that required third-party tools.

A Google search will reveal additional products. The two I mention above I have used and am happy with.
