Hi All

I have ust installed oracle and installed one of the sample databases. It asked me to set a password for the database but now when I try to open it via the Oracle Enterprise Management Console it asks for a user name. Anyone any ideas about where I can get this as I'm 90% sure I was not asked for one?

Normally you would login via OEM as system or sys. Their default passwords are manager and change_on_install.
The password you were asked for was probably the internal/SYSDBA password for loging on as internal or as sys or system as sysdba.
