Is there a way that I can collect the users name through a browser (As though I would go into Form Properties -> Send to Database -> Options -> Additional Fields in FP2000)

I know it is possible to collect the date by using
<%= Date() %> (But don't know how to set the date to UK Format!)
is there something similar for User Name ?

Also is there a way that I can see what system variables are available - a browsable list or query.

Hope this makes sense
