I reckon this has an easy answer but can't find it!
Please help.

We are upgrading to 7.15 and it would be great to be able to use the User Must Change at Next Login feature so staff can personalise their own new PIN immediately after entering the default. We are ISO20000 so security is a big deal.

However I’ve tried it and after entering my UserID and default PIN the screen asks me to “Please Sign On Again” with a Message of [209] Change PIN

I enter something different and the screen displays: [201] Authentication Error.

If I enter the default PIN again the screen goes back to “Please Sign On Again” with a Message of [209] Change PIN.

It seems to me to be in a never ending cycle of User Must Change PIN at next login because as soon as I uncheck the option that the user must change PIN at next login I sign in fine – but still with the default PIN.

There must be a setting allows the check box to become unchecked when the user first logs in but I cannot find it.

Have you any ideas?

I need to test this is viable and write up a straight forward procedure that we could send to users to follow.

The user options page could be used however in the new version there is a lot more options and I wouldn’t really want users messing about with them as they could potentially cause more incidents to be logged!
