User moves e-mail to personal folder, removed from BB

Hi all. I have a user that has just started having an issue today. Her BB is acting as if the "Hard Delete" option on BES is enabled, whereas when she moves an e-mail to a personal folder it gets deleted from her BB. The thing is, Hard Delete is NOT enabled on the BES server. Why would this be acting this way on this user's BB?
 
On her BB, does she have email reconciliation set to "Mailbox and Handhel"?

I'm Certifiable, not cert-ified.
It just means my answers are from experience, not a book.
 
HAve you checked the option "Hide filed messages" is set to no?

The PST file will be external to the mailbox, so if the message is being moved directly from the mailbox INBOX to the PST file AND Hard Delete Support is NOT enabled, the message should remain on the handheld.

There are a couple of things that may be causing this:

1) Are they using Desktop Manager > Intellisync to manually sync the device message list to the mailbox?
2) Are they moving the message (or a rule moves it) from the INBOX to another folder ans as RFBaker states, this may be the "Hide Filed Message" option that is hiding it on the handheld.
