Ok, I've done a lot of searching and haven't found the answer to this.
We have a Win2K server acting as a DNS and FTP server. I want to move those functions to a 2003 server. The 2003 server is a member of a domain but it is not a DC. The Win2K server is a member of a workgroup. I have no problem with moving the FTP sites or the DNS. My issue is how do I move the users? They are all local accounts and I do not want to make them domain accounts. They should go from being local accounts on the Win2K machine to local accounts on the 2003 machine. Is there a way to do this? If I have to do password resets, I can live with it but I'd rather not if I can avoid it.
Thanks!!
Steve
