User Login ?

im having problems creating a user login, the user needs to login and have the login information saved to a disc.

the actual authorware presentation is located on a CD and all saved data is to be stored on a floppy.

any advice or good sites ?

In Authorware 5 & 6, there is a login knowledge object that you might want to look at. The good thing is it's pretty much all done for you, the bad thing is that it's not as flexible as if you were to write it from scratch.

It should at least get you started. Other things to consider are whether the login info needs to be encoded/encrypted in any way for security, and formatting issues if you want to be able to plug the info into a database.

but i think i will attempt that again.
