I was wondering if anyone knows of a good solution to tracking user login/logout times on NT network. I have enabled the audit feature in the event viewer, and it does work, however I would like to be able to have it stored in a db for reporting purposes to management. Does anyone know of a 3rd party product that does this well?

Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide.

on my network, nt4 server,i do tracking by a vbscript i wrote that runs from the logon script and writes log files. Mine doesnt write to a database but it easily could.

Writing your own tracking stuff is obviously more work than a 3rd party app but you have more control.

I dont do log-out stuff atm, but i believe its possible to have logoff scripts on win2k clients.
