Hi!!!

Any idea how to do an interface (form) with username and password??? I have the idea that I must use a table were user's data will be stored....

And what about the restrictions??? I want to restrict the access depending on the current user...

Any tip or hint?

Thanks

Hi,

I'm not one to 'supply' an instant answer, I much prefer for the person asking to check it out for themselves - that way they 'know' it.

In this instance, it's essential that you study it, because MS Access supplies security at whatever level you want - from application, right down to field level, and includes all objects within the DB.

Access is almost like NT or Unix when it comes to security, especially in 2000.

Search help in Access for more info, but look for and run WRKGADM.EXE in the MSOFFICE directory somewhere.

Darrylle
