User locking out others

Is there any way to find out what user is locking out the others? what sometimes happens is a user will start to add a record and then walk away.

This causes everyone to be locked until the user saves or cancel the record they were in the middle of. I have the default record locking set to "no locks" and I have the "open databases using record level locking" checked.

Any ideas would be helpful.

You could create a backend. I'm having a similar problem, but with that and ASP.NET web applications.
