User isnt able to record any announcements

Hi,

One of my customers emailed me to advise that when she tries to record announcements in her 5.2 avaya communication manager, she gets a busy tone. I checked the COS permission fields and she can definitely record announcements. The way she does it is type the access code for announcements, then type the extension number used for the announcement but she always gets an ENGAGED dial tone. Any advice?
 
Two possibilities:

The announcement is protected.

The announcement is in a Group. You cannot record it using the telephone. You would have to assign the announcement to a single board, have the user record the announcemnt, then copy that .wav file and upload it to the other boards in the group. You would then change the extension back to a Group announcement.
