Is it possible to make a user interface.
To provide security and avoid changes to the original design.
I would greatly appreciate any assistance provided.

Regards

Yes, this is possible. You can write your own viewer application or see list of 3rd-party viewers at:

If you also need to protect the report designs as intellectual property, my DataLink Viewer provides that functionality by converting rpt files to rpz files (that can't be opened in Crystal, but behave just like rpt files in DataLink Viewer (except that exports to rpt or report definition formats are blocked).

CUT, Visual CUT, and DataLink Viewer:
view, e-mail, export, burst, distribute, and schedule Crystal Reports.

There are several choices, depending upon what you consider security.

Ido referenced the viewers, you can write an application as Crystal has an expansive API, or you can go with Crystal Enterprise (web based), BO's scheduling and distribution product.

Crystal Enterprise Standard came with the higher end versions of Crystal Reports.

I didn't notice you are using CR 8.5
That version still supports "compiled reports" as another alternative.

How best can it be integrated with MS Access
in a multiuser environment.
I will appreciate your advice.
It is my first time to use CR due to Demand

Thanks

If you purchase Crystal Developer edition you can use the runtime components within Access. I believe you can download whitepaper/sample application from Crystal (BO)'s web site.

Alternatively, use a command button to call one of the 3rd-party viewers that supports command line invocation.
