User input for crystal report 1

I am using VB6 and RDC.

Is there a way to create a form(.rpt) and when the user calls it up from my Visual Basic application, he can fill in the form(.rpt) and then print. I know you can input values to a report with parameter fields. Is there another tool available to support this option?

I have been told this capability exists with Crystal.

Have another form in VB which passes the values as formulas of the CR.

If you are trying to modify the report as a form AFTER it is run, I don't think this is possible with the Crystal engine. If it IS possible you would need to use the "Report Creation API calls" which involve an extra license fee per user. Instead, I would export it to a modifyable format and present that to the user for modificaton, like a word document.
