I'm working on using Access for an issue submission form. What I'd like to be able to do is pass their user ID from active Directory to the User ID field in the main table. It can be behind the scenes, just to be pulled for reporting purposes. Most times if I ask users to enter their ID, they never do. Anyone know how to accomplish this?
Thanks!
Z.

Have you tried Environ("USERNAME") ?

Hope This Helps, PH.

Ok, now you've lost me. I'm not a programmer... just know enough to be dangerous to myself and others. :)
Anyways, this looks like a declaration for a variable(?) Do I enter this in a table to poulate the form, or does it go somewhere in the "code".
Thaks for putting up with my ignorance on the subject.
